Thanks for this show.
For those guitar players out there, I believe this may be the first show where David Gilmour debuts the famous black strat(1970 model) which would go through many changes and would be used on all of Pink Floyd's 1970s recordings through David's last world tour. |

Shouldn't Blues be listed as being played before Embryo? It was a short version that segued directly into Embryo (the transition to Embryo comes around 2.26). This is the only time this happened.

From a review on Collectors Music Reviews....
"The recording begins with a gentle fade-in during the “Intro” already in progress; it’s unclear how much is missing here, but I can’t imagine much. Though it’s more or less the standard “Pink Blues” that was usually reserved for many an encore, we are treated to a fabulous bluesy solo from Mr. Gilmour, supported by sustained chords from Wright’s Hammond. " The setlist is as listed on GR, and is indeed, blues....It's not quite a 'gentle fade-in', however; it pretty much just starts..... |
