Dave's Notes: not too much known about this; i got it in trade quite recently. folks have been asking for it so here it is. quality is not the greatest but this is THE Lynyrd Skynyrd band of the mid 70's and stuff from them is hard to find to say the least. Gary seems a little low in the mix sometimes but otherwise the sound is good if somewhat low levels. a good overhaul of this is needed (w/ Kingsleys recently seeded audio preferably) but this is what i have.

and i have to say i love it...to see Ronnie sing was always a dream of mine, one that i can now (sadly) only fulfill through these types of videos. Fly on Free Bird...

PS if you want to read a good insider account of Lynyrd Skynyrd read Gene Odom's simply-written yet gripping book: "Lynyrd Skynyrd: Remembering the Free Birds of Southern Rock". the man was on the plane. enough said.

It is. I have it on VHS. Nice show with some songs that aren't on the live album, like "Cry for the Bad Man," and "Same Old Blues". It has both Hughie Thomasson and Billy Jones from the Outlaws on guitar during T For Texas. Hughie has the Strat, Billy the Les Paul. Great Post! Skynyrd fans will definitely want this one!
My copy lists it as being at The Cow Palace in SF in 1975, though.

Thank you sir!! This is a much wanted show. Hate to mention that I did get to see Ronnie sing in person. It was at a music fest in Chicago back in the early 8-'s. Yes was the main show, next Framption, Gary Moore and the opening bad was LS, they blew all other shows away!

About 80 miles from my house is the Ronnie Z park, in Green Cove Springs, Fl. Really a pretty cool place, Thanks again Dave.

Hmmm, not sure how 8-'s came out of my keyboard. But yep, it was like 73 or 74. Mayor Dailey actually got on stage with them and did an attempt of a dance. Pretty funny.
